Last Thursday’s end-of-year showcase left our community feeling deeply proud of the students of Cortes Island Academy. Their confidence, creativity, and leadership on full display reflected not only their hard work, but the strength of a learning community that is thoughtful about culture and connection.
Cortes Island Academy empowers rural, remote, and Indigenous youth through place-based education rooted in land, community, and leadership. This work relies heavily on donations to fund the Academy’s bursary program and ensure the program remains accessible to all students.
We’re inviting our community to come together in support of Cortes Island Academy with a simple challenge: make a gift that feels right for you — whether it’s $10 or $10,000.
Every donation directly supports the Academy’s bursary program. Large or small, each contribution is a meaningful vote of confidence in our students and the future we’re growing together. If Cortes Island Academy has inspired you — through the recent showcase, the students, or the vision behind this work — we invite you to take part. When many people give what they can, the collective impact is powerful.
