CCHA Family Support - Desta
Hands on 16 hour course. Working with trees of different ages and conditions. Pruning for tree health and fruit quality. Also considering other landscape trees and shrubs.
Four 4 hour sessions running Saturdays 10:30 to 3 with 1/2 hour lunch break.
Starts January 24.
Good quality hand pruners and saw required.
Tuition is $200.
Some work trade available.
Previous participants invited for half price.
Full scholarship support for women+ attendees thanks to Women's Hands Rural Skills Workshop Series for Women+, a project of the Cortes Community Health Association Family Support Program which is funded by the Fund for Gender Equality as part of a partnership with Community Foundations of Canada and the Government of Canada and dispersed locally through the Cortes Community Foundation.
