Bring your homemade candle boat or floating creation to a community celebration of light & magic! The tide will be ebbing through the afternoon. Best to arrive at 4:30 pm with the boat launch at 5:00 pm.

Young and old, locals and visitors, merry of heart, but please leave 4-legged friends at home, and share the news with friends & neighbours.

Make sure that your boat or creation is earth-friendly: use wood, paper bags, tissue paper; remove the aluminum casing around tealights and replace with shortened toilet paper rolls. Be simple or elaborate; tealights on a flat board work well, but check that your boat floats and prepare your candle by pre-lighting at home first. Bring matches and wear gumboots.

Please park in the parking lot to keep car lights off the lagoon and minimize erosion around the lagoon shore. The weather forecast looks good with little wind & rain.
