I am concerned about the petition mark is circulating with no information about how governance decisions would be made if cortes were to incorporate. Already it is obvious that many planning committees related to community planning and zoning are hand selected by individuals with ulterior motives and bias towards what kind of decisions get made. Will this be how cortes us governed if we lose the oversight of a larger district with many experienced and knowledgeable people involved to curb bad decisions from harming small communities?
I just think more info is needed on who will make decisions for the community if we incorporate and how those people will be selected. So far mark has not engaged in fair democratic processes as our appointed director, and has made at least one major decision that has been very harmful to local residents. Is this how an incorporated cortes will be governed? As a dictatorship?
