Cortes Climate Action Network presents
EV Forum
Oct 31, 2025, in the Pioneer Room of Manson’s Hall, 1–3PM
Have you been wondering if an electric vehicle could be right for you? Do you have questions or concerns you'd like addressed? We'd like to hear them!
Come be part of a conversation about EVs! Our panel of EV drivers including Barry Saxifrage, Ralph Garrison, Carrie Saxifrage, Mike Moore, Max Thaysen, De Clarke, Tony Toledo, Josh Fletcher, and Don Tennant is keen to share their experience and knowledge.
We'll be discussing questions like
* can an EV meet my need for a rugged, 4WD, high-clearance car?
* I like to go to remote places -- will finding chargers be an issue?
* are EVs really "clean" ?
* wouldn't it be better if I drive my gas car until it dies before I get an EV?
* can I use my EV battery to power my house in a power outage?
* since EVs cost more but are to cheaper to drive than gas vehicles, how long will it take to break even?
* if I have a problem with my EV and can't get it towed off the island on the ferry, what are my options?
Feel free to email is you have more questions, or if you want to be on our panel:
