Newts have starting crossing the roads on their fall migration! Please keep watch for them. They like crossing when it is wet.

Yellow and black 'Newt X-ing' signs are mounted in areas considered 'hotspots' of larger newt migrations, close to wetlands.

Please drive slowly and carefully and do your best to avoid running over the newts -- they look like small upturned leaves, or twigs on the roads.
