To the Cortes Community,
As the colder months begin to approach, we all need ways to get out of the house.

I’d like to share with you my childhood sport — Ultimate Frisbee! Alongside Claudia Raaen, who many of you know well, we’re excited to invite you into a sport that’s growing rapidly. With a super friendly learning curve and zero tolerance for intentional physical contact, it’s a great way to get active, meet people, and have fun.

In short, it’s a variant of American football — but without contact, and with a frisbee instead of a football.

I’ve played Ultimate for quite a long time, and over the past five years we’ve had a strong and vibrant local community around the sport. Now is the time to bring that fire back!

Everyone on Cortes who enjoys Ultimate is enthusiastic and patient when it comes to teaching new players — beginners are absolutely welcome.
