On Saturday September 20th at 2pm in Spirit Square, Campbell River will join many towns and cities across the country in a national day of action to 'Draw The Line'. Too many challenges, locally and world-wide, are going unheeded by those in power. This event is a celebration of people power, a chance to stand up and be counted, and together call for a better world.
Rachel Blaney and others will speak on the issues of People Over Profits; Indigenous Sovereignty; Migrant Justice; Peace, Not War; and Climate Change. There will be music and more.
Organized nationally by Seniors For Climate, 350.org and others, it is organized locally by the Campbell River Chapter of Council of Canadians and many concerned citizens.
People of all ages and stages are encouraged to bring their signs, voices and enthusiasm for a better world and join the call for economic and climate justice for all, at Spirit Square on September 20th.
