Community, we’re looking for a loving, grounded home—or possibly a co-guardian—for a beloved cat, Juniper. He’s a 4-year-old neutered, healthy male with a gentle, adventurous spirit and big heart. Juniper is incredibly affectionate, loves snuggles and human company, and is also a great mouser—but we want to be clear: he’s not meant to be just a mouser. He’s a true companion animal and thrives with connection and care. Juniper is indoor/outdoor and very social, but he’ll need to come inside more regularly during the colder months for adequate cuddles. He does best when he has someone to curl up with, to check in with, and to share space with—not just someone who feeds him now and then. His humans are on Cortes about 4 months a year (late Spring and Summer), and while they would love nothing more than to keep Juniper with them full-time, they want to do what’s best for him.

We’re open to:

A co-guardianship, where Juniper lives with you during the fall/winter/early spring months and returns in the summer. We’d cover food, vet care, and offer ongoing support and love.

Or, if the right forever home emerges, we’re open to rehoming him fully, if that feels like the most stable and loving path forward.

We’re hoping to find someone who truly wants his companionship—a person or family who would welcome a soft, sweet presence through the seasons.
