FRIDAY, AUGUST 1: Friday Market at Mansons Hall 12-3pm
The Mansons Hall Friday Market is proud to present a weekly assortment of artisanal goods and foods, expertly crafted by various skilled vendors. Multiple tables and booths are set up inside the Main Hall and outside in the grassy areas, extending to the Village Commons.
Discover the best of local goodness from noon to 3pm this week, featuring artisanal treasures like handcrafted drums, wooden utensils, and natural beauty products, alongside mouthwatering eats like homemade pasta, sourdough loaves, and fresh berries.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 1: Thrift StoreDiscover a treasure trove of gently-used clothing items for the whole family at the SCCA Thrift store, open during the Friday Market from 12-3. Located down the hall from the Pioneer Room, this store offers an opportunity to give back to the community. All items are sold based on suggested donations to the SCCA.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 5: Pilates with TeánaTuesdays at 8:15 and Thursdays at 9am until Aug 13th

In this gentle all-levels Pilates Mat class, we’ll reawaken our full body breathing and connect to our navel centers, learning how to radiate out in all directions. We’ll use visualizations to unlock full-body awareness and invite greater range of motion into our movements. Balance work is incorporated. Together we’ll find easeful flowing presence and delight!
All 3 classes: $40 / Drop-in: $15
TUESDAY, AUGUST 5: Iyengar-style Hatha Yoga6-7:30pm, Om Studio. Explore standing asanas, designed to promote joint flexibility, proper alignment, and back wellness, while boosting stamina, sleep quality, and concentration. Open to all levels, $20 drop-in. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6: T’ai Chi Ch’uanJudyth Weaver received accreditation to teach TCC from Grand Master Cheng Man-Ch’ing's school in 1971 and has since been a regular instructor worldwide. The Om Studio will host the class every Wednesday from 10am to 11am. These sessions are complimentary and open to everyone; donations to SCCA and Better at Home/SOS Society are also welcome. Elisa Thorn (pronounced eh-lee-sah) is a versatile harpist, vocalist, and composer who has emerged as a sought-after figure in the Canadian creative music landscape, renowned for her distinctive and contemporary approach to the harp.
Thorn’s original compositions, weaving together elements of folk, post-rock, jazz, classical, and indie music, are driven by two primary artistic goals: to create music that balances abstraction with accessibility, and sensitivity with boldness.
