With ConnieQ as your DJ, facilitator and immaculate host
ConnieQ (she/her) is as inevitable as she is incorrigible. A force of nature, a force of spirit and of dance, Connie shares her passion for ecstatic dance weaving rich tapestries of music that nudge even the most immovable beings into motion. Connie honours the transformative power of embodied movement for healing, healthy connection, release, joy and playful fun. As unconstrained by genre as she is by gender, her soundscapes travel through flowing chants, grindy bass, high vibe edm, world beats and more inviting journeys into whatever arises within us as we come alive through dance.
All ages, all genders, all bodies, and all parts of YOU are welcome.
Regular Temple Guidelines:
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
Dance Temple is an alcohol-free and scent-free space. Please also refrain from phones and outdoor shoes.
The facilitators of Dance Temple hold a strong intention to honour movement and dance as an essential and powerful expression of self and connection to others. We acknowledge the healing and creative nature of movement and recognize that fun, play and humour are vital to this practice.
Please contact connieaquaylegmail.com if you would like to be involved or are interested in volunteering in exchange for free admission.
