Please join us on Friday July 11 at 7pm for the next installment of our Literary Friday series of creative writing events. Scott Lawrance will lead a generative writing workshop in conjunction with the current exhibition at the Gallery, John Mottishaw's "Cortes Island Root Drawings." This is another opportunity to explore and experiment with ekphrastic writing, a literary practice that takes visual art as its inspiration, subject and theme. No experience necessary. Just bring some paper, your favourite writing implement, and your sense of creative play. Admission is by donation, all welcome!!
