Motivating Net-Zero Action: Community Visioning Session Focus Group
Our local Cortes Climate Action Network (CCAN) would like to invite you to participate in a Community Visioning Session focus group, with the support of Rural Climate Action Expert from Quest Canada, Gemma Pinchin, and University of Victoria Sustainability Scholar, Ilse Alejandra Martínez Candelas.This session will happen ahead of CCAN’s afternoon presenter’s event.
The purpose of this session is to support community members in envisioning a shared, positive net-zero future by identifying collective priorities and values, and fostering ownership and leadership in guiding future energy, climate, and resilience initiatives.
Share your voice and experience to help envision a net-zero future that supports the well-being of our community and the land.
DATE: June 21, 2025
TIME: 10am - 12pm, with lunch included from 12pm-1pm
LOCATION: Linnea Farm
