Please join us for this special visual presentation by Dr. Felicia Vachon, Research Coordinator with the Marine Education Research Society (MERS). Dr. Vachon will speak about the recovery of humpback whales in B.C. waters, along with current threats to these whales, particularly entanglement, vessel strikes, and climate change. This presentation will also serve as a general introduction to MERS’s study of humpback whales as individuals, education campaigns, and ongoing research.
Presented as part of the new Humpback Comeback 2.0 exhibition at Wild Cortes Natural History Centre.
