Dance Temple Cortes
Saturday June 7, 7:00- 8:30 at Mansons Hall
Dance Temple ecstatic dance with Dancing Wolf, 7:00-8:30

Dancing Wolf loves music more than anything, next to family, friends and nature.
Inspired by his Dad's love of Jazz and good sound Wolf started collecting music at 14 and speakers at 16. He has had 4 radio shows in Victoria and Cortes and you can listen to Gaia Grooves at cortes radio.ca In the 90s, while producing his contemporary folk show, at the University of Victoria, he found hundreds of World Beat CDs in CFUV's Library and soon the renamed Planet Folk became a showcase for music from around the Globe. Because of all that lively music he started the family friendly One Heart Dances in Victoria and for 20 years shared his passion there on and the road to Cortes, Hornby, Lasqueti, Sooke, Salt Spring, Duncan, etc.
Dance Temple is an inclusive, safer, and sacred community space to explore authentic non-verbal expression through ecstatic dance and movement for health and transformation.
Dance Temple is an invitation to tune in to your body, join with other dancers, celebrate, meditate, express and unwind. It is an open dance floor for you to explore different rhythms, sounds, patterns of movement and whatever arises in your inner journey.
All ages, all genders, all bodies, and all parts of YOU are welcome.
Regular Temple Guidelines:
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
Dance Temple is an alcohol-free and scent-free space. Please also refrain from phones and outdoor shoes.
The facilitators of Dance Temple hold a strong intention to honour movement and dance as an essential and powerful expression of self and connection to others. We acknowledge the healing and creative nature of movement and recognize that fun, play and humour are vital to this practice.
