Can we find delicate yellow stream violets snuggled in the mossy forest floor or one of the orchids found on Cortes? No picking!! Do you know how many orchid species are on Cortes? (At least five species). And did you know that you can look through the other end 
of binoculars as if looking through a magnifying glass? What great beach discoveries will we spot during low tide?

We meet at 10:00 at the trailhead into the Children's Forest, Coulter Bay Rd. with snacks & lunch. Consider bringing your swim stuff.  New families are always welcome. Families are free to return earlier than our approximate times if needed. Out of respect for wild creatures, please leave dogs at home.
