Learn how to build a simple worm farm and how to care for a vermicompost indoor home set up. We will build and populate a new bin to take home, discuss care, feeding and expanding your population, as well as how to harvest worm castings to feed your garden plants and improve overall soil health.
Red Wigglers (Eisnia Fetida) can help create a sustainable food waste recycling system within your home and can assist gardeners in creating healthy vibrant soil, full of life! We’re excited to introduce and share these powerful garden allies with you.
Dress for the weather and bring gloves if you’d like. This free workshop for Cortes Island women+ provides all materials, and each participant will take home a worm farm.
