WINE 101 Seminar

The tasting and enjoyment of wine is sometimes viewed as something mysterious and complex, although it needn’t be. In Wine 101, we attempt to demystify wine and provide some common-sense and fundamental tools to further your enjoyment of this wonderful and ancient beverage. We embrace a value system that ranks wine relative to how much it costs and how much pleasure it gives you. Having said that, some basic skills are easy to learn, which will assist in your enjoyment and knowledge of wine.

Led by Lorne Jacobson and Monika Hoffmann, Wine 101 is an introductory course to wine tasting and basic sensory analysis. Lorne and Monika are retired wine industry professionals with over 60 years of experience representing multiple facets of the industry.
