The Cortes Island Women's Resource Centre is excited to announce our fundraiser Celebrating Women Through Art and Music at Manson's Hall on May 31st!

We will be featuring the local talent of Charlotte Walker, Marguerite Thompson, Laurel Bohart, and the DJ skills of Connie Quayle! There will be vending and showcasing of local artists as well.

Monica Lee is coming up with The Couch Choir from Vancouver. You can learn more about them at monicaleemusic.com.
Monica was here last summer and taught music classes for children through the SCCA Summer Youth Program. She will be performing a set from her multi language children's album, "You, Me and the Moon", which can be found on Spotify. She also has an ECE children's music program available on Youtube called "Jump Into Music".

We encourage any women (self identified and non-binary) of all levels to join in a Songwriter Circle hosted by Monica. Pre registration is required. You can contact the Women's Centre 250-935-6501 or email us.
