Cortes Wild Exhibit and the farmlands of Linnaea.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop simple birding skills for children & families with the focus on observation of calls and behaviour
using the incredible resource of the Wild Cortes exhibit.

Join Corry Dow and Christine for a birding workshop and participate in the annual spring migratory bird count.

We’ll start inside at Wild Cortes at Raven’s Relations, and listen to some of their calls, then see who we can discover in the fields and lakeshore of Linnaea Farm.

Bring any birding books and binoculars (although they are not easy for younger children to use).

Note - Our Feathered Friends will happen at Linnaea instead of the May Children’s Forest walk.
