Join us for the opening of our new exhibition, “Won’t You Be My Neighbour?”!

This exhibition explores some of the historical and contemporary neighbourhoods and collective living strategies of Cortes Island that have strengthened community, identity, and affordability. Archival photographs and artifacts from the CIMAS collections, stories, and a community wall are featured. This timely exhibition expands on themes explored in From the Ground Up: Cortes Dwellings and their Histories (2024). Curated by Monika Hoffmann and Melanie Boyle
