HOST INTERPRETER at the Museum – To welcome visitors, interpret exhibits, assist with special events, and staff the Museum Shop. A great opportunity to develop your customer service, event and retail skills while expanding your knowledge about local history and the Museum! This position is 35 hrs/week, $22.50/hr, June through Aug.
CURATORIAL ASSISTANT/HOST at Wild Cortes. To assist with taxidermy mounts, displays and welcome visitors this summer. If you have a passion for natural history and hands-on learning this is a great skill building opportunity! The position is 30 hr/wk, $22.50/hr, June -August. Wild Cortes is the off-site learning centre and lab of the Cortes Museum & Archives (CIMAS) Located at Linnaea Education Centre, 1255 Seaford Road.
Applicants for both positions must be 17-30 yrs.
