Spring Scavenger Hunt in the Children’s Forest on Sunday, April 6, 10:00 - 2:00 pm!
Spring is a’bursting all around! Pacfic tree frogs/aka as spring peepers are calling everywhere. Fiddleheads are uncurling. The tree canopy is vibrating with songbirds.
The Children’s Forest Trust is organizing a spring scavenger hunt. Form family teams or form a team of 2-4 friends, and think of a forest friendly name for your team. Bring curiosity and sharpened senses, but
there will be no picking.
Pack a snack and lunch, and remember the puddles are still deep from spring rains. We will meet at 10:00 at the trailhead into the Children's Forest, Carrington Bay Road. New families are always welcome. Out of respect for wild creatures & wild places, please leave dogs at home.
