The DeathCare Collective is hosting a special community event on Thursday, March 27th, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at the Mansons Hall.
This will be an informative and heart-centered evening. We’ll begin at 5:00 pm with a shared meal of nourishing soup, as a way to come together in community.
At 5:30 pm, as you enjoy your food, we’ll begin the sharing with a slideshow. Following that, we will welcome our guest speaker, Emily Bootle from DeathCareBC.ca, who has become an invaluable mentor and advocate for our work. Emily is a dynamic and engaging speaker with extensive experience as a funeral director and deeply involved in supporting more hands-on deathcare practices.
After Emily’s talk, we’ll hold a brief AGM.
We warmly invite people of all ages to join us for this event. For families with young children, Autumn will be providing childcare in the playschool. If you need to leave early to put your children to bed, we completely understand.
