Whirling symbolizes unity with the cosmos. it is a movement where we dissolve ourselves in a world that cannot be understood with our minds; it has to be felt in the heart. Ultimately, even the heart has to be dropped. Most famous is the whirling dervish but there are many cultures that celebrate spirit with spiral dance. The spring equinox offers us a moment to connect with the cosmic momentum.

Dance Temple is an inclusive, safer, and sacred community space to explore authentic non-verbal expression through ecstatic dance and movement for health and transformation.
Dance Temple is an invitation to tune in to your body, join with other dancers, celebrate, meditate, express and unwind. It is an open dance floor for you to explore different rhythms, sounds, patterns of movement and whatever arises in your inner journey.
All ages, all genders, all bodies, and all parts of YOU are welcome.
Regular Temple Guidelines:
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
Dance Temple is an alcohol-free and scent-free space. Please also refrain from phones and outdoor shoes.
The facilitators of Dance Temple hold a strong intention to honour movement and dance as an essential and powerful expression of self and connection to others. We acknowledge the healing and creative nature of movement and recognize that fun, play and humour are vital to this practice.
