Fish Safe is running a series of marine safety courses on Cortes at the end of April. There are is space in both the Restricted Operator Certificate-Maritime
(ROC-M on April 28) and the Small Domestic Vessel Basic Safety (SDV-BS formerly MED-A3, on April 29).

These courses are discounted for commercial fishers and aquaculture workers. Other community members are able to participate at the normal cost.
