Keeping house size to a certain maximum is more egalitarian.
The average income on Cortes is below the national average and Mac Mansions do not fit the Cortes landscape financially or environmentally.

Crapping into perfectly good ground water is using Roman technology - we know what happened to them ;-)
Every dwelling should use a composting toilet, which is way cheaper than a flush system and more environmentally friendly.
Groundwater is a diminishing resource. The old water cycle seems to be broken. The atmosphere now holds approximately 7% more moisture, which equals more downpours, rain or snow. The soil is warmer, and moisture retention is reduced. Let's also focus on the groundwater, please?
