'Nature Boy' on CKTZ will be now weekly. New shows on Wed. 9:30-10;30AM -repeated Sundays 10:30AM.
Next few weeks we'll continue, by ship, from Costa Rica to the fabled Panama Canal. I'll replay my audio recordings that I collected through this journey.
On the 19th we'll continue exploring remote, pristine Corcovado National Park.
In Panama, we'll visit Coiba National Park, the largest island on the west coast of Central America, four times the size of Cortes and penal colony for 70 years. As it repelled visitors for nearly a century, 80% of the islands' natural resources have therefore survived untouched and flourished. I reveal it's tragic history as I walk amidst the ruins of this prison-island.
Playa Muerto on the Darien National Park is our last landing. before the Panama Canal. We'll spend an afternoon visiting the Embera tribe, who have lived there for milenia.
All shows are archived on the CKTZ 'Nature Boy' website.
On the 19th I'll also feature the 'Bird of the Century'... that arrived a few days ago...
The Great Grey Ghost Owl...
