Politics can be deeply personal and often divisive. Our goal is to foster a space where all members of the community feel comfortable engaging, regardless of their political beliefs.

By keeping our focus on local matters, we hope to create a positive and inclusive space where residents can connect, collaborate, and stay informed about daily life in our community.

There are other local channels available to post and discover local political content (Cortes Currents, Cortes Marketer), and streaming platforms with local pages (Facebook, Instagram etc.).

Our Classifieds Section is for Cortes Island ads only.

Content of community articles and notices must be relevant to Cortes Island, and focus on local news & events.

Exceptions to political content appearing on Tideline include local elected officials providing regional updates to constituents, and short-term election sections that are available during election periods to provide non-partisan election information.
