Children's Forest Trust
I grow out of old trees,
I grow in different shapes,
I am almost everywhere,
What am I?
What will a new year in the Children’s Forest bring? New treasures or discoveries? A pygmy owl or screech owl hoot? A new fungi?
The first Sunday of each month is our nature forest walk into the Children's Forest, rain or shine, unless strong winds are blowing. Meet at the Carrington Bay trailhead at 10:00 am with snacks & lunch in pack, and maybe a piece of wood for a bonfire. We expect to return around 2:00. Adults without children are welcome, and please leave dogs home out of respect for wild spaces and wild creatures.
