Cortes Streamkeepers will be bucketing spawning gravel (large, round rocks) into James Creek and will be making human redds to deposit chum eggs into on Sunday, Dec 8.

10,000 chum eggs!!!

Youth streamkeepers with enthusiastic hands & hearts are invited to help put stones into buckets, but are not expected to carry buckets, and will be able to watch the redds being built and the eggs placed in them.

Families will be able to continue on with their walk whenever they wish.

Meet on Sunday, December 8, 10:00 am at the Carrington Bay trailhead - boots and hearty snacks!

Please leave dogs behind out of respect for wild creatures, especially salmon on this day.

If possible, please RSVP.
