The Village Commons Music Series is happy to partner with fundraising effort Care for Cortes this year! Each week of the summer, the Cortes Island Community Foundation is highlighting a different non-profit organization fund/project. We will be collecting donations throughout the week. All donations will be going to the community project.

This week, donations will be collected on behalf of the Microgrants for Neighbours program.

Ideas that connect neighbours - MicroGrants for Neighbours is designed to spark creativity within our community. In 2023 we were able to fund 13 different projects, which helped support childcare, encourage learning surrounding gender diversity, food security, free tech support, and more! A donation as small as $50 could be enough to get a project running!
