FRIDAY, AUGUST 2: Friday Market (plus Brenda and DJ Hanson in Concert!)
Our summer weekly Friday Market takes place every Friday afternoon from 12 to 3 PM in the Main Hall, with plenty of more vendors outside on the front deck and on the upper level by the radio station.
Plus Brenda and DJ Hanson will perform from 1-2:30 outside under the big tent!
Brenda Hanson is an Indigenous singer, songwriter, and performer from the Klahoose First Nation. She and her brother DJ were born & raised in Powell River BC. Brenda is an international performer with contemporary and traditional entertainment experience. Brenda & DJ were raised in a musical family that began at a tender young age and we both feel 'beyond blessed' to have been raised in this rich environment.
Indulge in a variety of goods at the market, including baked delights, gems, crystals, artisan soaps, fresh veggies, natural beauty products, sharpening services, delectable sushi, handmade crafts, imported hats and textiles, hand-carved sculptures, pottery, drums, sea lion rattles, knives from Finland, mammoth, jade and amber pendants, handmade cards, jewelry, and fresh pasta. Join us in supporting our local vendors at this beloved weekly event.
