Dear Kindergarten Parents/Guardians,

All kindergarten classes in School District 72 implement gradual entry to provide a smoother transition for children into a full day kindergarten program.

Gradual entry provides opportunity for children to adjust to new routines in the early weeks of school.

Here is our schedule for September:

Week 1 September 3rd-6th
• Wednesday the 4th: 8:45-12:00pm (half day)
• Friday 6th: 8:45-12:00pm (half day)

Week 2 September 9th- 13th
• Monday 9th, Wednesday 11th , and Friday 13th: 8:45-12:00pm half days

Week 3 September 16th-20th onward
• kindergarten students in school full time

Adapted schedules for kindergarten students past the 2nd week of September may be discussed and arranged with me during Week 2.
Please consider delaying the use of the school bus for your kindergartener if possible until they have settled into classroom routines.
