The Village Commons Music Series is happy to partner with fundraising effort Care for Cortes this year! Each week of the summer, the Cortes Island Community Foundation is highlighting a different non-profit organization fund/project. We will be collecting donations throughout the week online and in-person at the Friday Live Music Series. All the donations will be going to the community project.

On Friday July 26, from 1 to 2:30pm, Josie Simpson will be performing a live concert in the big tent. Come in person or tune into the live-broadcast.

This week, donations will be collected on behalf of the Emily Ellingsen Scholarship Fund. Emily's annual memorial bursaries support Cortes Island students in their pursuit of post-secondary education. There have been 13 cycles of this scholarship, supporting many of our islands best and brightest. Your donation will be matched (up to $20,000)
