The Cortes Food Bank is looking to hire for our newly created part-time permanent Executive Director position. We are looking for candidates with:
- A deep commitment to the community
- Experience in providing high quality client care
- Proven leadership in strategic planning; financial, volunteer, and staff management; as well as partner and fund development

About us:
The food bank has been serving the Cortes community since 2002 as a volunteer-run, donation-supported organization. In order to better meet the needs of our clients, we became a non-profit society and a member of Food Banks BC in 2022. Since then, the number of people in the community who rely on our services has grown by 600%. These numbers match what other food banks are experiencing across BC and the rest of Canada, as food and housing insecurity continue to worsen.
