Do you have a passion for Cortes Island and a knack for storytelling?

The Cortes Island Community Foundation (CICF) seeks a dynamic Communications Coordinator for a summer term (June 17 - Aug 12, 2024) to elevate our online presence and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging social media campaigns and content promoting CICF and our local nonprofits.
- Assist with press releases, newsletters, website updates, and other communication materials.
- Collaborate on summer events to showcase CICF and our vibrant nonprofit community.
- Participate in Cortes Island events and workshops.

Qualifications:
- Youth aged 15-30 years old (this role is funded by the Canada Summer Job program)
- Strong interest in Cortes Island and social impacts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Access to computer and workspace

Compensation: $20/hour, 30 hours/week
