MAY 12: Mother’s Day Goddess Speakeasy and Dance
You are invited to come share poetry, song and move our bodies together to celebrate mothers and mother in all forms on May 12 ~ 7-9pm. Mansons Hall. Everyone welcome. Free/by donation. Moonrise cast members are preparing some delicious songs and storytelling to share.
Wear your opulent Goddess attire.
Bring your poetry, art, songs or creative expression to share in the circle speakeasy.
Bring a fancy dessert to share if you like.
You may like to bring something for the alter to honour mothers & nurturing ones in our lives who have passed into the spirit world, so we can dance with them in our hearts.
We welcome donations to cover the hall costs and any extra will go towards the creation of Moonrise, the rock opera - specifically travel, sets, costume, puppet material costs.
Moonrise is mythic rock opera with an original music score, masks, puppets, traditional Celtic tales, and audience participation. From the creator of Dragon Songs, a small ensemble of five artists are collaborating and creating a story about the return of power to the Goddess Earth. We are planning to tour the gulf islands in the fall of 2024. We hope you will join us as we begin to weave the magic!
Hope to dance with you
