Hello Cortesians

Some of you will know my friends Jyoti and Karsten Bruun. They bought a home near the Children's Forest a few years ago after many visits to Cortes.

Perhaps you met Jyoti at the Free Store, or at Kirtan or Satsang, or an Awaken In Me Dance Meditation, or an Enlightenment Intensive or at the DCC monthly meetings or the Gardening Club or smiling in the Co-op or ????

Their son David Bruun survived a horrendous T-Bone accident on Douglas at Bay in Victoria a week ago and, while miraculously his injuries are not life threatening, he will need financial help while he recovers.

David is a very generous person, like his parents, and his Victoria Community and beyond are responding to that generosity and his predicament big time!!


ICBC's No Fault Insurance is deeply flawed and it could take months for any compensation.
