HACI - Jenny
To better manage the high demand for moorage at the Government docks on Cortes during the summer months, all recreational vessels requesting summer moorage (between April 1st and September 30th) now require permission prior to mooring. Recreational vessels currently using the docks are also required to complete a new application.
Our 2024 Summer Moorage package can be downloaded from the file below, or can be picked up in paper format from the Cortes Market or Gorge Store. Applications for moorage will be accepted in the order they are received, starting at 9am on April 1st, and can be submitted via email to hacimgrgmail.com, or by mail to PO Box 329, Manson's Landing, V0P 1K0. Applications received prior to April 1st will not be considered. We will accept photos of completed applications via email, as long as all information is clear and legible.
Please contact the HACI at hacimgrgmail.com, or 250-935-0263 if you have any questions or to request an application. Recreational vessels using the facilities without an agreement may face the removal of the vessel at the owner’s cost. Moorage agreements are termed and will need to be renegotiated with the HACI upon their expiry. While we will do our best to accommodate all moorage requests, due to the large number of applications we receive, we may not be able to provide moorage at your first choice facility.
Thank you,
The Harbour Authority of Cortes Island
