Friends of Cortes Island and BC Parks would like to offer huge thanks to the awesome volunteers who turned out for our Broom Bash at Mansons Landing Provincial Park on Sunday.

We managed to remove broom re-growth from the whole of the Spit, including the threatened coastal sand ecosystem, helping to restore the natural vegetation growing here.
