Sabina Leader Mense/ CCWP
This is an early announcement to invite Cortesians, one and all, to our upcoming Wildlife Conference - April 5, 6, 7 at the Linnaea Education Centre; mark your calendars!
Following the enthusiastic response to Listening & Dialogue I in 2011, the Cortes Community Wolf Project (CCWP) is hosting Listening & Dialogue II, to continue to keep the Cortes community apprised of recent provincial research initiatives in the arena of wildlife coexistence.
As our long-term mentor Bob Hansen has always said, “Education is more effective than enforcement.”
We will be taking a wildlife coexistence lens to the landscape of Cortes Island; listening & dialoguing with experts in their field.
We are delighted to announce that Todd Windle has just confirmed his attendance. Todd is the Wild About Wolves Project Coordinator with Pacific Rim National Park Reserve (PRNPR) and he will be speaking to us about the project’s five years of field research with wild coastal wolves in PRNPR.
Stay tuned to Tideline as we confirm our suite of speakers over the next month.
Here’s to... Learning to Live Together with our WILDlife!!!
