Niki-Mainroad North Island
A pacific low-pressure system is expected to bring significant snowfall to the Northern Vancouver Island Service area over the next 24-72 hours. Accumulations will vary depending on elevation and could make travel difficult at times, be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Mainroad crews will be patrolling all service are highways and applying winter materials where appropriate until the event passes, roadways are clear and back to normal.
