Welcome a new calendar year in the Children’s Forest on our monthly nature day, Sunday, January 7. What will be the greenest green we will find? Awaken all senses, but especially your eyes & heart, and bring along a small collection bag.
We meet at 10:00 at the trailhead into the Children's Forest, Carrington Bay Rd. with snacks & lunch. The winter rains have created child-swallowing puddles, so wear your rubber boots.
And for the adventurous, bring a towel & bathing suit for swimming in Carrington Lagoon. New families are always welcome and families are free to return earlier than our approximate times if needed. Out of respect for wild creatures & wild places, please leave dogs at home.
