DEC 9: Mansons Hall Holiday Fair

Over 25 Vendors selling their wares! Including beautiful silver, sculpted glass, copper and macrame jewelry; original artwork, holiday cards, books by local authors, clothing, wrist and leg warmers, birdhouses, woodwork, leather wares, chocolate, baked goods, hand-dyed merino wool, stonework, body products, tanned hides, jams and preserves, textiles, knitted socks, textiles, soaps, moon calendars and so much more! 💖
There will also be delicious roasted chicken pita wraps prepared on-site, a holiday photo booth, and live harp and flute music to serenade all into a joyous holiday vibration. 🌟🎵

DEC 8: Friday Market

Our weekly Friday Market takes place every Friday afternoon from 12 to 3 PM in the Main Hall.

In preparation for the holiday season, our quality vendors are serving up rare treats and goodies such as baked goods, gems and crystals, artisan soaps, natural beauty products, books by Cortesian authors, stonework, handmade jewelry, locally designed merino wool clothing and socks, assorted handicrafts, textiles, handmade greeting cards, and freshly-rolled pasta!

Come on out and support your local vendors; this is one of the island's most-beloved weekly events.


DEC 8: Thrift Store

The SCCA Thrift Store is open weekly during the Friday Market 1-3 pm, and Tuesdays 2-5pm, with plenty of gently-used clothing items for the entire family to choose from. You will find it down the hall to the Pioneer Room. All items are sold by a suggested donation to the SCCA.


DEC 10 & 14: Yoga with Kelly

Kelly Benson is offering three yoga classes at Mansons Hall:

Vinyasa Flow Sundays 11:00 am and Thursdays 5:30 pm, and Seniors Yoga Thursdays at 11:30am. All classes are in the Om Studio. For more info email kbrock55yahoo.ca


M/W/F: Julie's Café

Julie’s Café is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7am to 2pm. Eat in or take out, Julie and Sandy serve breakfast, soups and sandwiches, and baked treats. Cash only please! C'mon down to Mansons Hall for this sweet community cafe.

DEC 12: Parents & Tots


All caregivers and little ones (ages 0 to 4+) are invited to drop in for playtime and community connection.
Every Tuesday from 10:30 to 12:30 at Manson’s Hall.

DEC 12: Baby Time!


All caregivers and babies ( ages 0- 1+) are welcome to drop in for community connection and in a bright, warm space. This weekly offering will hold a supportive space for babies between 12:30 and 2:00 on Tuesdays. I hope to see you there!

Free, by donation. Location: Mansons Hall
Baby Time! will follow after the Parents and Tots program, and you are welcome to come for that as well.


DEC 12: Sew Much More


On Tuesdays from 2-5pm in the Om Studio, Marnie Andrews and Cora Moret run a practical sewing clinic, wherein participants will learn basic repair skills and sewing techniques! Youth welcome, and children under 10 with an adult.


DEC 13: Drumming with Pawl


This all-levels drum class features African rhythms and techniques taught by Pawl Khan. You will improve your technique, have fun and experience the many health benefits of drumming in a circle. Pawl has decades of experience as a world-class drummer and instructor.

In the Om Studio, Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:45

$12 drop in
$40 for 4 classes
