Friends of Cortes Island is delighted to be launching its 2023 Project Highlights Video.
You can watch the video HERE to see all of the wonderful work we carried out in 2023.
This includes: coordinating vital conservation work on Western Screech Owls in the Discovery Islands; maintaining Cortes Island’s outstanding regional parks and trails; monitoring and enhancing threatened salmon populations; restoring the amazing Dillon Creek Wetland; and supporting Dungeness Crab conservation efforts through the Hakai Institute’s Sentinels of Change Initiative.
