DEC 1: Friday Market
Our weekly Friday Market takes place every Friday afternoon from 12 to 3 PM in the Main Hall.
In preparation for the holiday season, our quality vendors are serving up rare treats and goodies such as baked goods, gems and crystals, artisan soaps, natural beauty products, books by Cortesian authors, stonework, handmade jewelry, locally designed merino wool clothing and socks, assorted handicrafts, textiles, handmade greeting cards, and fresh-rolled pasta!
Come on out and support your local vendors; this is one of the island's most-beloved weekly events.
DEC 1: Thrift Store
The SCCA Thrift Store is open weekly during the Friday Market 1-3 pm, and Tuesdays 2-5pm, with plenty of gently-used clothing items for the entire family to choose from. You will find it down the hall to the Pioneer Room. All items are sold by a suggested donation to the SCCA.

DEC 5: Parents & Tots
Moms, dads and their kiddies can partake in the playful and social Parents & Tots program that takes place every Tuesday morning 10:30-12:30 with Serene Watson.
This weekly, facilitated program provides the space, toys and art supplies for parents to enjoy together with their 0-4+ year olds, offering peer support and child-centred play. Sometimes, there are as many as 15 or more children attending, so coordination and cooperation are essential parts of this experience for them.
It’s a great way to shake off your cabin fever and escape the isolation common to new moms and a small, spread out island community. Come play at Mansons Hall on Tuesdays!
Offered free, by donation.
