NOV 17: TATAMA & Sun Rob
Join us for this exciting concert event featuring Cortes Island musicians Sun Rob and Paul Wolda!
Local musicians host live session with some arrangements and lots of room to join in later for jamming.
Friday November 17 at Mansons Hall, doors at 6:30, show starts at 7pm. Admission by donation.
NOV 17: Friday Market
Our weekly Friday Market takes place every Friday afternoon from 12 to 3 PM in the Main Hall. Rare treats and goodies such as baked goods, gems and crystals, artisan soaps, natural beauty products, handmade jewelry, knife-sharpening, assorted handicrafts, textiles and wild fish!
Come on out and support your local vendors; this is one of the island's most-beloved weekly events.
NOV. 17: Julie's Café (Closed November 20-24)
Julie's Café will be open from 7am to 2pm on Friday, November 17th, but closed the following week. Eat in or take out, Julie and Sandy serve breakfast, soups and sandwiches, and baked treats. Cash only please! C'mon down to Mansons Hall for this sweet community cafe.
NOV. 17: Thrift Store
The SCCA Thrift Store is open weekly during the Friday Market 1-3 pm, and Tuesdays 2-5pm, with plenty of gently-used clothing items for the entire family to choose from. You will find it down the hall to the Pioneer Room. All items are sold by a suggested donation to the SCCA.
NOV. 18: Up-cycled & Handmade Night Market
Join us for an evening of Fall Festive Fun on Saturday November 18th at Mansons Hall for our Upcycled & Handmade Night Market!
Local makers share their creative wares alongside treasure troves of pre-loved items!
Sunflower Foods will be serving up a BBQ wor won ton soup and spring rolls, delicious deserts and tasty treats.
Admission is FREE and doors open at 5pm!

NOV 19 & 23: Yoga with Kelly
Kelly Benson is offering three yoga classes at Mansons Hall:
Vinyasa Flow Sundays 11:00 am and Thursdays 5:30 pm, and Seniors Yoga Thursdays at 11:30am. All classes are in the Om Studio. For more info email kbrock55yahoo.ca
NOV 21: Sew Much More
On Tuesdays from 2-5pm in the Pioneer Room, Marnie Andrews and Cora Moret run a practical sewing clinic, wherein participants will learn basic repair skills and sewing techniques! Youth welcome, and children under 10 with an adult.
NOV 22: Drumming with Pawl
This all-levels drum class features African rhythms and techniques taught by Pawl Hugo Khan Skyrider, in the Om Studio Wednesdays 5:15 - 6:45
