Pub Quiz!

Benji's Pub Quiz is back, by popular demand!
Friday Nov. 10 at Mansons Hall 7:30 - 11PM

Quiz game, beer, fun, music, and dance. Pub food by Julie of famous Julie's Cafe. Bring a team or join a team at the hall. Tickets $20 at Co-op, Mansons Hall & Squirrel Cove stores.
Tickets also available at the door.


Work Party!

The Mansons Hall deck project is moving along, and we have a painting task coming up this weekend. We would love your helping hands!

Saturday Nov 11 12-3pm

Coffee and snacks will be provided.

There will be light work outside, so dress for the weather.

Join us for this exciting concert event featuring Cortes Island musicians Sun Rob and Paul Wolda!

Friday November 17 at Mansons Hall, doors at 6:30, show starts at 7pm. Admission by donation.


Friday Market

Our weekly Friday Market takes place every Friday afternoon from 12 to 3 PM in the Main Hall. Rare treats and goodies such as baked goods, gems and crystals, artisan soaps, natural beauty products, handmade jewelry, knife-sharpening, assorted handicrafts, textiles and wild fish!

Come on out and support your local vendors; this is one of the island's most-beloved weekly events.


Julie's Cafe


Julie's Café is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7am to 2pm. Eat in or take out, Julie and Sandy serve breakfast, soups and sandwiches, and baked treats. Cash only please! C'mon down to Mansons Hall for this sweet community cafe.


Yoga with Kelly

Kelly Benson is offering three yoga classes at Mansons Hall:

Vinyasa Flow Sundays 11:00 am and Thursdays 5:30 pm, and Seniors Yoga Thursdays at 11:30am. All classes are in the Om Studio. For more info email kbrock55yahoo.ca


Sew Much More

On Tuesdays from 2-5pm in the Pioneer Room, Marnie Andrews and Cora Moret run a practical sewing clinic, wherein participants will learn basic repair skills and sewing techniques! Youth welcome, and children under 10 with an adult.


Thrift Store

The SCCA Thrift Store is open weekly during the Friday Market 1-3 pm, and Tuesdays 2-5pm, with plenty of gently-used clothing items for the entire family to choose from. You will find it down the hall to the Pioneer Room. All items are sold by a suggested donation to the SCCA.
