A rare predator!
General News · 7th November 2023

At 9:30-10:30 AM on Wed. Nov8th join me as I travel back in time and play my recordings from Baja showcasing the 4th episode of scorpion hunting with the late, great, naturalist William Lopez Forment. He takes us on a successful night time quest to collect scorpions for scientific research. We wander and wonder and giggle our way through the darkness in this fabulous desert. For 400 million years scorpions have withstood the test of evolution and are both dangerous and fascinatingly complex.

We'll also go mushroom hunting on Cortes this fall...on the radio! Is that possible.? Focusing on identification techniques.
Afterwards, we'll continue our exploration of Labrador's coastal villages and their 8000 year human history.

Repeated Fridays at 3:30 PM and cached on the CKTZ's website under the 'Nature Boy' banner.
